dance this morning was good! a little more advanced, which was really nice. i need to take more classes!

so i gave the bookstore my application and the manager really liked me and loved the hours i wanted and is making the final decisions for holiday jobs this week, so....hopefully she still likes me after the real interview! lol

FABS arch relief supports are so nice. they feel really good at night after dancing. and i finally went and bought a theraband lol....definitely didnt know what i was missing! and i also ordered these:

and i also chose my christmas song for my lyrical solo. and that's it! i think i'll go stretch some more...

i'm tired and achy...probably because i've been stretching all day. dance this morning was great, especially considering it was monday morning (my worst mornings, usually!) my extensions are improving dramatically now! yay for constant stretching/working muscles. my strength and center are also much, much better, as is my flexibility. so it's all good...right now.

i have too much and not enough to say, so i think i'll just stop!

but it's the best thing ever to have an ex-masseuse as a father

it's really hard not to stretch. i'm not stretching my hamstrings today (day on, day off) so i was concentrating on my feet and strength.

i kept leaving classes (the horrible,  boring classes) and warming up in the bathroom - relevé's, tendus, a few barre stretches on the counter

and then while i was making dinner i did relevé's and tendus in first, second, and fifth....can't wait til tomorrow when i do a full streeeeeetch routine.....ahh.

my muscles are sore too, like my whole body. arms cuz i was doing the over-the-head tricep reps with a 45 haha...yeah that was heavy. and the curls with the 45 barbell and curls with 25 in each hand....and then all the stretching. yup.

i feel like an awful dancer. woooo! i have low  dancer self esteem right now! lol


today started out horribly, ballet at 9 and my body was definitely asleep! ...lol i needed it.

i was so stiff! (and sore from my 80 relevés up my stairs on thursday lol)...but it felt good.
my body just wasn't cooperating!

so i came home at 10:30 and stretched until lunchtime (while doing precal homework)
and then i worked out, which loosened my muscles wonderfully and stretching was much better....almost had my splits back! yay i'm recovering lol.

sooooo overall it was good....i absolutely hate my extensions. what kind of dancer has horrible extensions? but i'll be okay. i'll improve. i'll be GREAT! haha whatever...i'm tired now.
